The Amazing Race 39 premiere date: An April 2026 update

As we get further into the spring, is there a chance we are finally going to hear something more when it comes to The Amazing Race 39?

Well, first and foremost, let’s begin by just noting that the reality-competition show is certainly coming back for more, and we even know that another season has already been filmed! This is really all about when CBS wants to program it and for now, they are not really saying that much on that subject.

So is there any good news we can actually share? Well, it is worth noting from the get-go here that CBS may very much announce their fall schedule before April concludes and from where we sit right now, there is a good chance that The Amazing Race will be there on Wednesday nights. Why would the network move it away from season 51 of Survivor, especially if they both continue to be 90 minutes?

So while we are expecting to see Phil Keoghan and company back either in late September / early October, we really should go ahead and note that anything can happen with this show. It has long been a fill-in of sorts for the network over the years and because of that, it would be silly to come in here and automatically assume something different. We just hope that there is still a solid belief the show will perform well in this timeslot, even if it is not necessarily one that is going to generate the most attention week in and week out.

As for one more thing we want…

Can we find a way to get the show out of Europe and to several continents? We can only hope after what we saw last time…
