Wednesday season 3 premiere date: An April 2026 update

Is there a chance that we are going to hear more about a Wednesday season 3 premiere date between now and the end of April?

Well, the first thing we should go ahead and note here is quite simple, and that is the simple fact here that production on the next batch of episodes is already underway. You do not have to worry about that and because of this, attention can shift simply over to the next all-important subject: When everything will be ready to air over on Netflix.

Unfortunately, this is where we do have to come in here and note that this is not one of those shows that can be filmed rather fast. There is a long turnaround that comes with a series like Wednesday. Not only does it take a long time for Jenna Ortega and the rest of the cast to film these episodes, but then you also have the lengthy post-production process that is required to polish things properly. There are a ton of special effects here and even with that process done, you also have to figure out what the right spot is for Netflix to start streaming.

For now, our general feeling is that we are going to be seeing the next season at some point in the spring or summer of next year, and we do not expect many more reveals in the near future. This is still a really long wait but at the same time, here is the silver lining: It is nowhere near as bad as what we saw between seasons 1 and 2. We do tend to think that there is going to be a real concentrated effort to keep the show around in shorter intervals … provided that there is more coming after season 3.
