Abbott Elementary season 5 episode 19: Janine, Gregory plan a trip

As we prepare to see Abbott Elementary season 5 episode 19 on ABC next week, are characters going to be thinking about summer vacation already? Well, that appears to be the case for Janine and Gregory! This episode is titled “Trip” for a reason, and we do hope that there is a chance we’re going to learn a lot about what they want from their time that they are not in school.

One more thing that we should say here is that viewers, we have to prepare for the series’ summer vacation, as well. The series is going to go off the air with a two-part finale later this month. We are lucky to know that a season 6 is coming, but is there going to be a cliffhanger in here? Let’s just say not to rule that out for now.

In the end, we’re mostly just eager to see a story here that could be in part around dreams. However, we are in a spot here where we should be able to see Janine and Gregory both thinking about what they would like to do outside of school. Meanwhile, Melissa’s former student coming back could allow some other people to dream in their own way. There are a lot of ways to reflect some of these themes over the course of the half-hour, but also chances to laugh. After all, this show does still remain a comedy, no?
