Australian Survivor: Redemption episode 19 preview: Did Brooke make right move?

As we get prepared to see Australian Survivor: Redemption episode 19, we do think that almost all eyes need to be on Brooke at this particular point. She is the last returnee standing and in a lot of ways, her game has been incredibly inspiring. Anytime she’s been in danger, she’s been able to either play an idol, win a challenge, or flip some votes.
Now that we’ve said all of that, though, you can argue that her back is 100% up against the wall. If she wants to make it to the final Tribal Council, she may either need to win out or find enough idols / advantages to constantly save her.

Did she make the right move voting out Simon rather than allowing the vote to go to rocks? That is something we do have to analyze. She had no real reason long-term to trust him, given that he did flip on her in the past and clearly, she had no interest in forgetting that. Meanwhile, her idea here is that with Simon gone, her odds of winning the rest of the way were higher. Yet, he was still a number at this particular point, whereas Cameron, Loz, Caleb, and Sally certainly are not. We’re not sure it is worth it, but Brooke may think that if she loses at this point, some of her allies will flip on her anyway.
So we do have this interesting narrative for her moving forward and as for the newbies, it really just comes down to if any of them can really step up and differentiate their games. Jackson, Keeley, and to some extent Caleb are the three who most have a case right now, with Keeley pulling off arguably the most impressive and riskiest move when it comes to playing her idol for Brooke.
