Is NCIS new tonight on CBS? It goes without saying but of course we would love more on the crime drama in the near future.

So is there something more we can say leading into primetime in a few hours? Well, it begins with the good news that starting at 8:00 p.m. Eastern, the show is going to be back with a really important installment in “Fleeting.” This is the first real installment of the show since the death of Leon Vance and because of that, we do assume that there is going to be some sort of emotional tribute to the character. How in the world can there not, since we did not really get a chance to see the team fully mourn him?

While we know that a tribute of sorts is coming during the episode, NCIS season 23 episode 14 is going to contain a traditional case here at the same time. If you want to learn about that, be sure to check out the synopsis below:

“Fleeting” – Navy Week turns electric when a stolen squad car flips and reveals a sailor stabbed in the trunk. As D.C. spirals into chaos, the team chases a killer while carrying the weight of recent events, on the CBS Original series NCIS, Tuesday, March 31 (8:00-9:00 PM, ET/PT) on the CBS Television Network, and streaming on Paramount+ (live and on demand for Paramount+ Premium plan subscribers, or on demand for Paramount+ Essential subscribers the day after the episode airs)*.

Ultimately, our advice moving forward is rather simple: Be prepared for just about everything. You are going to see some comedy wedged within this hour, while at the same time there is going to be a good bit of emotional content. The best thing you can do is brace for all of it.
