Is When Calls the Heart new tonight on the Hallmark Channel? After the way that this past installment wrapped up, we have a hard time being upset at anyone who is eager for more. After all, is Lucas still going to be around? Meanwhile, how long is Abigail planning to stay put? There are clear changes coming to the community but at the same time, we imagine that a few other things will stay relatively constant.

Unfortunately, we are going to be stuck waiting a good while now to see what is next. There is no installment airing tonight, as last week marked the epic season 13 finale! A season 14 has already been ordered, so you do not have to worry about that; the real challenge is simply going to be waiting around in order to see the show back for more.

So as for what the next chapter of When Calls the Heart is going to look like, we do think that a huge chunk of the early portion of it will focus on Lori Loughlin following her return to Hope Valley. Why is she back, and will she be around full-time? Meanwhile, we do hope to see more of the aftermath of Nathan and Elizabeth’s engagement as they plan for a future. While we would not be shocked in the event they get married in season 14, that has not been confirmed as of yet.

From where we sit, it is our general feeling that we are going to be seeing the show back either in January or February of next year — the only reason that could change is if filming starts later than expected. After all, star and executive producer Erin Krakow is currently expecting a baby with husband and co-star Ben Rosenbaum.
