‘Pretty Little Liars’ season 4, episode 5 preview: Lucy Hale’s Aria faces her own mommy issues

As it now turns out, Hanna is not the only member of the “Pretty Little Liars” with something weird going on involving her mother; Aria can also testify to some pretty strange happenings.

So what exactly is going on in the sneak peek below? It’s a mystery to even the Liars themselves. At the end of Ella’s class, they are all quickly admonished by her to get to their next class rather than sitting around and talking amongst themselves. What in the world is going on here? One logical guess is that maybe something unfolded between her and her boyfriend that has placed her into a pretty bad mood, or maybe she’s just feeling some after-effects to the idea that there are literally horrible things happening in the town of Rosewood at every second of the day.

In this sneak peek, you also have the opportunity to see what exactly Spencer Hastings has going on in her quest to get into UPenn. Basically, her parents have hired a consultant in order to ensure that she gets into the school with general admission. Basically, she claims that they are going to try to push the “sell, sell, sell” button on her despite all of her recent struggles, which includes a stint in Radley Sanitarium based on everything that happened at the end of the season.

Hopefully, we’ll get a great answer as to Ella’s strange behavior by the end of the episode, but given how the show often likes to deal with mysteries, it may take quite a bit of time for it to happen.
