As we look towards Monarch: Legacy of Monsters season 3 episode 6 over on Apple TV, what stories will be front and center?
Of course, this is one of those instances where we know there is a lot of awesome stuff to look forward to — but what stands out front and center? We do tend to think that in general, grief is going to take hold for many characters. Pending some miraculous revival Hiroshi is dead, and that means that everyone else is going to be left mourning and thinking about what could have been. However, at the same time there are also a lot of questions worth asking, including what the connection is between Cate and Titan X. Is this something that can be harnessed or dealt with?

Shaw and Suzuki test a “Titan phone” designed to summon Godzilla, triggering an unforeseen event that puts Shaw in the path of his own past.
Ultimately, we do think that we’re in a situation here where the characters are going to mourn but at the same time, are they really going to be able to stop and reflect all that much? We have a hard time thinking that when there are still some other problems.
As for what Godzilla could really do in order to help, let’s just say that he is a little bit of a double-edged sword. Obviously, we know what the famed monster is capable of, but can Shaw really guarantee that whatever plan he’s cooked up will work? We know that he can be a bit of a risk-taker but sometimes, there are risks that really are not worth it. This could easily be one of those.
