Lioness season 3 premiere date: A spring 2026 update

Now that we are several days into the spring, there is certainly a case to want to know more about Lioness season 3 at Paramount+, including just when it could premiere.

So is there anything further we can say from the get-go here? Well, if you missed our most-recent post on the subject, filming for the series starring Nicole Kidman and Zoe Saldana has already wrapped. That means now that everyone behind the scenes can put their focus into just editing the upcoming episodes and making them as perfect as possible.

Ultimately, we do think that before too long, we may actually know exactly when Lioness is coming on the air While we do not expect it to premiere this spring (Paramount already has Dutton Ranch from Taylor Sheridan coming), do not be shocked if there is some sort of announcement regarding the show in April or May. That would then give two or three months of buildup leading to a potential return in the summer.

As for what the story is going to be moving forward…

Well, here is where we do give the powers-that-be a lot of credit for finding a way to keep some major parts of the story under wraps. It does feel fair to say that the program has another mission that is going to test them in a wide array of different forms, but we also hope that the pacing is a little bit different. The first two seasons were structured pretty similar, and it would actually be nice to see a third season where it was more personal at the end and more action-packed in the middle. (Season 1 overall is still one of the best pieces of work Sheridan has composed in his time at the streaming service.)
