Love Overboard season 2: Is it renewed, canceled at Hulu?

Following the launch of season 1 today on Hulu, is there a chance we will see more of Love Overboard down the road? Or, are we already at the end of the line?

Obviously, this is one of those instances where we would love nothing more than to see how a format like this evolves. There are a few things that make sense as a concept already. Dating shows are always going to be big, but this one throws a Love Boat style setting into the mix and a streaming service that can go a little bit edgier than network TV. You also have a host in Gabby Windey who thanks to being a former Bachelorette, she knows what some of the contestants are going through. Also, add to this the fact that she’s legitimately funny in a way that most people in this genre are not.

As for the future…

Nothing has been confirmed one way or another here, and we imagine that Hulu will take a few months to see if Love Overboard sinks or swims. Do they need some sort of further footprint in the reality TV space? We would argue so, especially since the future of Bachelor Nation itself is very-much up in the air for them.
