Is Chicago Med, Chicago Fire, Chicago PD new tonight, March 25?

Is Chicago Med new tonight on NBC? What more can we say about Chicago Fire and Chicago PD moving forward at the same time?
Of course, it has been rather nice to have the long-running network shows back following a long break brought on, at least in part, by the Olympics. Unfortunately, the trend is going to come to a halt — at least for one week. We are now in the midst of a small break in the action, with the plan now being to bring all three shows back come April 1.

Will the wait be worth it? We tend to think so, especially since it feels like all three of the upcoming episodes are going to be character-focused — and for the medical drama in particular, we know that this is not something that we always get. To get a better sense of all the stories that are coming, go ahead and take a look below:
Chicago Med season 11 episode 16, “The Book of Charles” – 04/01/2026 (08:00PM – 09:00PM) (Wednesday) : Dr. Charles grapples with his own mental health following a harrowing experience working the suicide prevention line. TV-14
Chicago Fire season 14 episode 16, “Firehouse 66” – Severide is forced to overcome obstacles at the firehouse; Cruz finds himself at a loss amid the new changes in his family.
Chicago PD season 13 episode 16, “Restored” – 04/01/2026 (10:00PM – 11:00PM) (Wednesday) : Torres tries to stop the cycle of violence after a teenager is killed in an act of revenge. TV-14
Rest assured that following these episodes, there will still be quite a bit more moving through April and while there may not be 100% confirmation yet that these shows are coming back for more, we have every reason to feel cautiously optimistic.
