Is NCIS new tonight on CBS? We certainly do feel lucky that we’ve had a nice run following the Olympic break … but is that about to continue?
Well, let’s just go ahead and say that we have some great news to share within this piece — but also at the same time a reminder that what lies ahead is especially important. Not only is the Sean Murray crime drama on the air tonight but it will be with the milestone 500th installment! This is rarified air for a series like this, and we know that they are embracing it with an hour that is going to be both meaningful and nostalgic all at once. There is also a chance that it completely redefines the story as we know it!

Will there be some special guests who surface at some point here? Anything is possible, but we also have to remember that this show does have a budget and only so much time. There may be some flashbacks or archival footage, but we’re not sure we are anticipating a dozen or so present-day cameos here.
