Pluribus season 2 premiere date: Vince Gilligan’s latest update

For everyone out there wanting more news on Pluribus season 2 over at Apple TV, just go ahead and know this: Vince Gilligan is aware! He wants to make the next chapter as fast as he can, but he is facing continuously the reality that it’s just not happening altogether fast.
Think of it this way: Vince and his whole team are trying to make the series as perfect as they can. The premise is also so far out there that you can’t wrap your head around it right away. We know it is easy to compare it to shows that can turn seasons around every single year, but that’s a really hard thing to do conceptually. This is a project that is a lot more like Severance, another series that takes forever to make, than it is The Pitt.

Nonetheless, Gilligan himself does still have The Pitt on the mind to a certain degree. Speaking about this further in a chat recently (per Collider), here is what the show creator had to say:
“The Pitt is kicking our butts in every award show. They managed to make a great show and bring it in one year later, on the day, for the new season…How frigging long is this gonna take? I don’t know. We’re doing our best. It takes forever, making this thing. I wish it was faster. We appreciate everybody’s patience very much, more and more as the months drag on. But thank you, anyone who likes the show. We are honest to God doing our best.”
We still stand by our hope that Pluribus returns in either November or December of 2027, as two-year wait for a series like this feels reasonable. However, at the same time a lot of that is predicated on Rhea Seehorn and the rest of the cast getting back to work at a specific point, and there is no current clarity on that subject.
When do you think we are actually going to see Pluribus season 2 arrive?
