Wednesday season 2 premiere date: A spring 2026 update
With us now moving deeper into the spring, are we going to have a chance to learn something more when it comes to Wednesday season 2?
As per usual, there is a lot of good stuff to get into here, especially with production on the Netflix hit already underway overseas. This is a process that we imagine will encompass the next several weeks, and we have learned already that there are some fantastic new additions in between Winona Ryder and Eva Green. The latter is slated to play Ophelia, which is especially exciting when you consider her ties to the rest of the Addams Family.

Do we believe that there could be more news on Wednesday released this spring? Absolutely but there’s a difference between that and actually premiere date news. There is no real reason for Netflix to rush anything here and in all honesty, they won’t. We tend to think we will be lucky if we see any of the Jenna Ortega series by next spring. Summer 2027 feels like the most likely scenario when you consider all the time needed for visual effects even after the series is done filming.
We do recognize that there are some people out there who wish that this could be an annual event. There are still some shows that are able to pull it off! Yet, we have entered this specific era where for some of these big-budget stories, it is almost impossible for a number of different reasons. We just have to take solace in that the producers will move as fast as they can, and we really have to hope that we are not looking in the direction of the final season.
