The Madison season 2 spoilers: Star on possible setting

We are one day removed now from the season 1 finale of The Madison and with that in mind, there is so much on our mind. Stacy has already gone through so much from start to finish, and we have to hope that this emotional will continue to channel through every season.

What is somewhat unusual about this particular show is knowing that the second season has already been filmed and with that, the actors have to sit back and keep all the finer details of the future secret. There is no indication, after all, that the Paramount+ show will be back anytime soon.

Now as we do move forward into The Madison season 2, there is one big question to think about: Where will the story be set? A lot of the second part of season 1 was set back in New York, and yet, there was still plenty of footage out in Montana. Also, the finale concluded with a particularly noteworthy scene with Stacy dealing further with her grief.

Speaking to The Hollywood Reporter, here is some of what Patrick J. Adams (who plays Russell) had to say about what the second season could look like:

“Both places exist at the same time [between Montana and New York] … The bulk of the story is Montana-based. They find themselves there and, I’m not sure how much they want us talking about the specifics, but this show exists with these people in this space trying to figure out who they are, not only to themselves but to each other, and it’s sort of a deepening position.”

Ultimately, we tend to think the setting is going to be based on where specific characters are within a given point in time and really, isn’t that a part of what makes it exciting? There is an element of unpredictability that could keep throwing us for loops.
