Well, we do recognize that at some point, we are going to arrive at the first real break of the season … and we are already lamenting when that could happen. However, at the same time we are also eager to rejoice in the fact that we are not quite there yet. We do tend to think that we’ll see the typical series of current-event discussions happening at the start of the show before getting into the real meat of the episode. Is police stings the most noteworthy topic ever discussed in the history of the show? Probably not but at the same time, we don’t really think that Oliver is always out to just take a subject that is getting the most headlines. His goal is to both enlighten and entertain, and this is far from the first time he has focused on a police-related topic. Heck, this is not even the first one we have seen this season.
