Watson season 2 episode 15 spoilers: Is Sherlock back?

As we get a chance to look forward to Watson season 2 episode 15 on CBS next week, what individual stories will stand out?
Well, first and foremost, let’s just note that “A Third Act Surprise” is going to be another chance to see Robert Carlyle back as Sherlock Holmes — and who doesn’t love another mystery thrown into the mix? This is a chance to see a story that could stand out in many ways, but also pose some major challenges. That is exactly what we want as we get a little bit closer to the final stretch of the season.

“A Third Act Surprise” – Watson and the fellows race to save the life of a young woman who needs a lifesaving kidney donation. Meanwhile, Sherlock returns to help crack unsolved cases in Pittsburgh, on WATSON, Sunday, March 29 (10:00-11:00 PM, ET/PT) on the CBS Television Network, and streaming on Paramount+* (live and on-demand for Paramount+ Premium plan subscribers, or on-demand for Paramount+ Essential subscribers the day after the episode airs). Please note, Watson is now airing in its new timeslot of Sunday’s at 10:00 PM, ET/PT.
As we do get into the remainder of the season, we are still continuing to watch the series’ performance — and also whether or not that will translate into a season 3 renewal. This is one of the few shows on the roster where nothing has been confirmed yet regarding the long-term future and honestly, it could go either way. It has performed better since moving back to Sundays, but is that really going to be enough? Time will tell.
