When Calls the Heart season 14 premiere date hopes
Following the big When Calls the Heart season 13 finale on Hallmark Channel today, what more can we say about season 14?
Well, there are a number of things worth noting, and it starts with the fact that an official renewal has already been issued! We are certainly grateful about that, but we are still waiting to get even more news regarding the long-term future. The biggest thing that has already been stated is that Lori Loughlin is going to return as Abigail, and that is certainly great news for those who watch in part for nostalgia.

Now, let’s get more into the When Calls the Heart season 14 premiere-date hopes, shall we? From where we sit at present, it feels pretty darn likely that we are going to see the next chapter kick off in January 2027, the same time that it typically does (with a few exceptions over the years). The series typically kicks off filming in the summer, though we will see if there are any adjustments done to accommodate star and executive producer Erin Krakow’s real-life pregnancy.
Is season 14 going to be the final one?
We certainly understand anyone out there raising the question but for now, there is no indication that this is going to be the case. We tend to think that we will be in Hope Valley as long as the producers and cast want it to be the case. We do recognize that ratings matter, but there has not been any real indication that the numbers have dropped to such a level that there will be any sort of tangible concern over the future there.
What matters to us the most here is that whenever When Calls the Heart does include, the writers and producers have enough time to tie up all loose ends. Isn’t this a series that fundamentally deserves that?
