The Capture season 3 episode 4 spoilers: Carey feels pressure

Next week on BBC One, you are going to see The Capture season 3 episode 4 — and is all the tension about to be taken up yet another notch?
Well, based on the information that we have on this at present, the simple answer here is yes. We have made it to the halfway point in the season and on the basis of that alone, we certainly think that the tension is going to rise up and there will be consequences that come with almost every decision. Will Carey charge James Whitlock? Or, is she going to face some unexpected issues elsewhere? There are so many issues that need to be resolved here, and all within a relatively short amount of time.

Carey is under pressure to charge James Whitlock, with Pierson keen for them to work together to close the case. Both soon find they have other problems to deal with, and Whitlock is left to Latif and Tan to ‘break’.
Carey’s inability to reach Napier leads to her facing the consequences of her actions, and through Danny Hart, an unlikely group of allies presents itself. Pierson is also facing the consequences of his actions and must convince his colleagues that he is fit for the job.
Meanwhile, an off-the-record military group known as ‘E-Squadron’ seek advice from the mysterious Simon on how to get their plans back on track. Simon suggests ‘executive action’, and a deadly trap is set for Rachel Carey.
We do expect that Carey could easily be in danger by the end of the episode — but is the character really going to be taken out in episode 4? Well, that’s just not something we have an easy time seeing, not when there’s room for a lot of other twists and turns ahead…
