Landman season 3 premiere date: A spring 2026 update

Is there any chance that we are going to get more news regarding Landman season 3 between now and the end of the spring? It may go without saying, but of course we would love to see Billy Bob Thornton and the rest of the cast back soon. The second season was undeniably compelling and full of various twists and turns — so is there a way to keep some of that momentum?

Well, really the only thing we can do first and foremost here is get some of the bad news out of the way: There is almost sure to not be much news on the series in the relatively near future, at least when it comes to specific dates. Filming has yet to begin, after all, on the newest chapter, and it appears as though the absolute earliest we are going to see it back is at some point in late April or May. Taylor Sheridan is likely working on the story as we speak, especially since he is on the other side of making some rare promotional appearance for The Madison.

If there is anything regarding Landman that we could hear about this spring, it is likely going to be tied to either the aforementioned production or some sort of casting news. It would be, for example, to get clarity on whether or not Demi Moore will be back as Cami. The second season ended with Tommy Morris going away from M-Tex in order to operate an independent oil company, which he may think is the better road to his future. However, it does come at a clear cost if the business fails, especially given the source of his funding.

We do not think a specific premiere date will be announced until late summer / fall; Paramount+ could premiere the actual show around November or December, provided it is ready at that point.
