Dexter: Resurrection season 2 premiere date: A spring 2026 update
Is there a chance we are going to hear anything more on Dexter: Resurrection season 2 between now and the end of the spring?
Obviously, it is worth kicking off this piece with a reminder that there is so much more that we can potentially discuss and share regarding the future of the Michael C. Hall series. Take that filming is going to be starting off soon, that the New York Ripper is going to have a role, and there will likely be another couple of big-name cast members who eventually find their way on board.

We did note above, though, that a big part of this article is about discussing potential premiere dates … so why not get a little bit more into that? One of the great things about the Showtime drama is that there does appear to be a commitment to turning the episodes over as fast as humanly possible, and we do have a hard time believing right now that this is about to change. Do not be shocked in the event that we see the next season on the air this fall, potentially around October.
Now that we’ve said that…
Well, this is where the unfortunate news comes into play. Even with a faster turnaround, there is almost a zero-percent chance that we get some sort of premiere-date reveal until we get around to the summer. Showtime does not have to rush that; also, they may want to ensure that production continues to run swimmingly until they get close to making that sort of announcement.
