One Piece season 3 premiere date: A spring 2026 update

Is there any chance that we are going to hear more about a One Piece season 3 premiere date between now and the end of the spring? Of course, we tend to think that the demand and/or discussion is already there, even with it being rather clear that season 2 aired a short period of time ago.
Of course, we do tend to think there are a few reasons for the intrigue, and it does not take a rather deep dive to figure that out. The first two seasons of the anime / magna adaptation easily surpassed expectations, delivering a product that felt like it honored the source material without ever bordering on parody. That is a really hard thing to do in a live-action medium, but it makes us even more confident in the future. Here is where we also remind you now that season 3 is already filming!

Now, is there a chance that we are going to hear more about One Piece season 3 between now and the end of this spring? Maybe, but only tied to casting. We tend to think that we will be lucky to see the show back in the summer or fall of 2027 — that is still a much smaller break than what we had between seasons 1 and 2. It is not going to make the wait any easier. Our general feeling is that with the next chapter focusing on the Alabasta arc, we will see a number of characters back from season 2 — and then also some exciting new regions at the same exact time.
One more thing that we’re hoping for at this point is news on a season 4 within the next several months. Based on the performance of season 2, we honestly think that there are some more reasons for optimism here!
