The Lincoln Lawyer season 5 premiere date hopes; filming begins

Even though The Lincoln Lawyer season 4 wrapped up not too long ago on Netflix, we are in a rather fortunate position as we move forward. The series has already been renewed for a season 5! Not only that, but we have some great news already when it comes to the start of production.

In a new post now on Instagram, executive producer Ted Humphrey posted the following message that should put a lot of smiles on the faces of viewers’ everywhere: “We’ve just begun shooting Season 5 of #TheLincolnLawyer! And it’s going to fly by and land on @Netflix before you know it!”

Given how many shows have to wait for several months to see a show start production after the last season air, we consider what’s happening with The Lincoln Lawyer to be some sort of rarity. Netflix clearly wants to get more of the show back as early as possible; hence, them renewing it before season 4 even arrived!

What does all this mean for a premiere date?

From where we sit right now, we are reasonably hopeful that you are going to have a chance to see the next batch of episodes arrive at some point in the first few months of 2027. In the end, it will most likely be a situation where Netflix will have final determination on it, as the show should be ready to come back at virtually any point in the new year.

As for what we most want to see moving forward, a lot of that just really comes down to one Cobie Smulders. She is going to have a huge part on the next chapter of the season and with that, there should be more opportunities to explore Mickey’s past.
