MobLand season 2 premiere date: Three factors that play a role

As many of you may be aware at this point, MobLand season 2 is still coming to Paramount+ and of course, we are pretty darn excited to see it.

So what are we going to see when the show comes back? More chaos, more family drama, and also shifting relationships. It should just be an evolution following season 1, and now we have to just wonder what factors are going to play heavily into the show’s big-time return. For us in particular, there tend to be three.

The length of production – Obviously, this is important for a show like MobLand, mostly because all streaming shows (with a few exceptions) tend to wrap filming before they end up premiering. Paramount will likely not decide much here until the cast and crew are done behind the scenes.

How much editing is required – The good news about the Tom Hardy – Helen Mirren drama is that it does not require anywhere near the post-production as a House of the Dragon or some other series that are heavy on CGI. This means that it could be turned around within the span of a few months after the cast and crew are done.

When Paramount actually wants it back – We do recognize that for a lot of people out there, this could end up being the most maddening component. The cast have no say as to when exactly the show will come out, but we do not think that the streaming service is going to just sit on it forever. There is really no logic behind them wanting to do that!

We still stand by some of what we’ve said in the past, which is that there is a reasonably good chance that we will see MobLand return either in the summer or the early fall. It also feels like there could be a good hole in the schedule for it there!
