Australian Survivor: Redemption episode 9 preview: Two Tribal Councils!

As we are now looking towards Australian Survivor: Redemption episode 9, is the game about to heat up once more?

At this point, let’s just say that we hope so — after all, the events of episode 8 did leave a certain amount to be desired. Lyndl’s blindside may have been shocking to her, but it was telegraphed pretty early on in the episode. There is a clear group in power on that tribe, led at this point seemingly by Faith and Keeley. Mark is there, but almost along for the ride after he got a little too full of himself. Now, there may be debates as to whether or not the time is right to take him out. After all, both tribes are going to be voting someone off in this episode!

Honestly, at this point we are a little more curious as to what’s happening on the other post-swap tribe, mostly because they have been in less danger as of late. Brooke has been mentioned as a target and yet, we know that she’s got yet another idol! There is something we kind of love about her strategy right now: Find an idol, and then play it the moment you are even remotely worried. Nobody will be that angry at you for playing it wrong, and there is always going to be another opportunity to circle back and find something else later.

Who is in the best spot overall right now?

That still remains tricky to determine, but we do appreciate the idea that Keeley seems to not have her name brought up at all. We still do appreciate Lottie’s game and while Caleb’s name was written down in episode 8, it does feel like an enormous mistake to leave a guy who is this chaotic around. It feels like he’ll 100% turn on just about anyone who ends up getting in his way!
