Is there a chance that we are going to hear something more regarding The Gilded Age season 4 between now and the end of the month?

First and foremost, we should just go ahead and note that there is a lot to be excited about here already — after all, work is currently being done! We imagine that most of the next several months will be spent with the Christine Baranski series in active production, with the hope being for HBO to launch it at some point in 2027. As for where exactly next year we are looking at, that is where the current mystery lies.

Now if there is one thing we can say at present with a certain measure of confidence, it is simply this: We are not going to get much more clarity on a release date anytime soon. Basically no show out there is going to give you premiere-date news at the same time that filming begins, and The Gilded Age is not going to be the one to break the mold. At present, the goal behind the scenes right now is simply to just ensure that everyone can get started making these episodes as strong as possible, and there are so many different components that go into making that happen.

If we are lucky, we are going to see season 4 launch early next year — if that happens, there is a chance that a premiere-date announcement will come out this fall. However, we are still so early within this process that we cannot sit here and bank on it as a sure thing. Even when the episodes are fully edited and ready to go, it is really up to HBO themselves to determine when and how they want for them to air.
