Next week on CBS, you will have a chance to see Georgie & Mandy’s First Marriage season 2 episode 13 — but is anything going well for the main characters?

Well, first and foremost, let’s just start by noting that a good chunk of this installment is going to focus on a huge milestone for Georgie in his 21st birthday. If you ever needed a reminder of just how young the guy truly is, we tend to think that this is it. While this is a chance to be joyous, Mandy may not feel that way. Unfortunately, that is tied in part to what may be taking place tonight.

“A Big Birthday and Tequila Shots” – Mandy struggles to celebrate Georgie’s 21st birthday after hitting a rough patch in her career, on GEORGIE & MANDY’S FIRST MARRIAGE, Thursday, March 12 (8:00-8:31 PM, ET/PT) on the CBS Television Network, and streaming on Paramount+ (live and on-demand for Paramount+ Premium plan subscribers, or on-demand for Paramount+ Essential subscribers the day after the episode airs)*.

Our general feeling here is that Mandy will be able to get through this rough patch somehow, but we are prepared for it to take some time — this is a show that does do story-of-the-week plots, but at the same, let’s just say that there are always things that matter long-term. That’s of course reflected in the title for the show, as we do know that there are some hard times coming eventually … even if it is unclear exactly when that will really hit for the title couple.
