After tonight’s super-nostalgic episode of Best Medicine with ties back to Doc Martin’s past, would you like to learn more about the future? Season 1 episode 10 is poised to establish more of what the series has done from the start, which means some delicate medicine but at the same time, opportunities to learn more about Port Wenn in general.

One of the things that the Fox show has done a great job at so far is really building out a sense of community. Despite it being a town where medical emergencies happen almost constantly, this is oddly still a place you want to live. It is beautiful and escapist and there are a lot of interesting characters. In other words, we’re not shocked in the slightest that this already has a season 2 renewal!

Without further ado now, let’s just go ahead and look at what is to come. Below, you can see the full Best Medicine season 1 episode 10 synopsis:

After Martin invites Louisa to watch the annual bird migration over Port Wenn, he treats an elderly woman whose hallucinations lead to dire consequences. Meanwhile, Aunt Sarah fumes after the reading of a will leaves her nothing and Martin must perform an emergency procedure on his young friend in the all-new “Port Wenn-ings and a Funeral” episode of Best Medicine airing Tuesday, Mar 10 (8:00-9:00 PM ET/PT) on FOX. (BMD-110) (TV-14 D,S,V)

After this episode, we should note that there is seemingly a brief hiatus coming on March 17. After that, we should be arriving into the home stretch of the story with higher stakes, more dramatic cases, and hopefully other chances to learn about these characters.
