Australian Survivor: Redemption episode 6 preview: A target on Simon?

As we get prepared to see Australian Survivor: Redemption episode 6, is it fair to feel just a little bit sad? We recognize the obvious frustration that can come from returning players getting to compete with newbies, but Dirty Harry is a thrill to watch. We’d take someone like him a million times over someone who comes into a game like this with some sort of moral code they are desperately trying to cling to.

Losing Harry is hard, even if it feels like Jackson still has potential as a player. Moving forward, the Bounty tribe will be in an interesting spot — and is Simon in trouble?

Based on the preview we saw for the next Australian Survivor: Redemption, it does feel like he’s out there desperately trying to find a new ally for himself. That has long been one of his real issues in the game — for one reason or another (and at times through his own mistakes), he ends up either isolating himself or not being able to execute a plan. We do think that he can be an asset still for his tribe but at the same time, he’s not the ringleader. We will say that he and Brooke probably have a better chance of staying than Mark does as a returnee, but that is largely because Mark is so thought of as a strategic plotter.

One other thing that is abundantly clear moving forward is that Caleb could be a force to be reckoned with. On paper, we would think it a mistake to be this bold and brash in the game. However, at the same exact time, remember that with this show in particular, we’ve seen people like George make it really far while also being outwardly confident about the way they want to play. Feras and Myles were also far from afraid to speak their mind or take risks.
