Australian Survivor: Redemption episode 5 preview: Harry’s revenge?

As we get prepared to see Australian Survivor: Redemption episode 5 arrive, it does feel like there are a couple of key narratives to watch.

So where do we start off here? Well, first and foremost, a lot of attention has to be paid to Harry, who just lost one of his top allies in Paula. After being such a great gamer for much of his first two seasons, he has struggled so far when it comes to building trust and putting other people at ease. He is now in a position where he cannot trust almost anyone, and that includes a fellow returning player in Simon who he has been secretly working with. We do wonder if he would have tipped off Harry if he was truly in danger — Paula, however, is not as much a priority for him.

Based on the preview that we saw for what lies ahead in episode 5, one of the top stories seems to be Harry vowing to burn the whole tribe to the ground. We have said before that he is one of those players who plays better when his back is up against the wall, so we will have to wait and see if that proves to be the case here.

Meanwhile, on the other tribe we could be seeing the beginnings of a war with two reality TV veterans front and center for much of it — you have Mark in one corner and then Johnson in the other. Who is going to emerge on top here? That is something that we are eager to figure out! Mark obviously has the Survivor experience, but he is also not as aware of everything on his tribe as he would probably like to be. It remains to be seen how big of a factor that will be moving forward.
