Next week on The CW you are going to have a chance to dive into Wild Cards season 3 episode 6 — so what more can we say about it?

Well, first and foremost, “Return of the Corkscrew Killer” feels like on paper, it could prove to be one of the most entertaining and chaotic stories that we’ve had a chance to see so far. This is one of those cases that is going to touch on a lot of different things, whether it be true crime, copycat killers, and also perhaps a media frenzy. Sure, Max and Ellis have shown that they are adaptable and able to go with the punches — but will they be able to keep doing that moving forward. In the end, time will tell — and we hope to be entertained every single step of the way.

To get a few more details right now all about what is ahead, be sure to see the full Wild Cards season 3 episode 6 synopsis below:

Max (Vanessa Morgan) and Ellis (Giacomo Gianniotti) head to a small town celebrating the anniversary of a grisly murder spree, only to find a copycat killer is uncorking fresh terror, forcing them to team up with the original killer’s traumatized lone survivor. The episode is written by Veronika Paz and directed by Alexandra La Roche (#306).

In the end, it is our hope here that this episode will allow us to be legitimately surprised in a few different ways, and then also set up some great stuff moving further into the season. For now, we should note that there are repeats set for March 16, but it remains our hope that there will be a chance to explore something further for these characters once we get into the middle of March.
