Criminal Minds: Evolution season 19 premiere date: Best-case scenario
At this point, we do tend to think we are going to hear more about Criminal Minds: Evolution season 19 sooner rather than later. Also, you better believe we’re excited for it! There is so much more story to tell here, whether it be some standalone cases and then also something larger with Elias Voit. We know that there is another iteration of Zach Gilford’s character coming, but what will that look like?
As we do look more towards the big return of the show on Paramount+, it feels like an announcement is coming sooner rather than later. So what is the best-case scenario for it now?

Well, given that Criminal Minds: Evolution premiered last season in May, it does make a good bit of sense that this be the case here. However, can we rule out April? That feels like the best-case scenario at this point for the show, mostly because there is still a lot of time for that to be announced — and we also do think that there’s a reasonable chance that episodes will be ready at that point.
One other thing we are curious about
Is there a chance that we’re going to be a season 20 renewal announced before season 19 is revealed? We do think that there is a fairly decent chance of that. This is a show that honestly deserves that, and also some sort of proper send-off. This is a series that we would love to continue to see around for as long as the powers-that-be are interested in telling these stories. It also feels as though there is a good bit of nostalgia out there still for these characters, who have been a part of our lives now for decades.
