House of the Dragon season 3 premiere date: Best-case scenario

Is there any chance that we will be getting more news pertaining to House of the Dragon in the near future? Season 3 filming has been done for a little while and because of that, we hardly think it is crazy to assume that some more updates could be ahead. It is really just a matter at this point of when HBO chooses to make that happen.

For the sake of this particular piece, though, what we want to get into is rather simple: What is realistically the best-case scenario in which we could see the series back?

Of course, we would love to sit here and say that Olivia Cooke, Emma D’Arcy, and the rest of the cast could arrive in the spring, HBO has already noted that summer is when season 3 will arrive. Because of this, we know already that the best-case scenario is therefore June. It is still possible that the series returns shortly after we have a chance to see the latest batch of Euphoria episodes. However, at the same time you could argue there could be another show wedged in between and we are stuck waiting until August.

Do we think that HBO has already figured this out behind the scenes? Sure, and that’s why we could hear something more around the time that A Knight of the Seven Kingdoms wraps in a little over a week. Even if we do not get an exact premiere date by any means, an approximate one remains in play and that is absolutely something that at this point we would be happy to welcome. Anything to set up what is going to be an exciting season, likely led by the long-awaited Battle of the Gullet hyped at the end of season 2.
