Heated Rivalry season 2 premiere date: A January 2026 update

There is no denying that Heated Rivalry has become one of the biggest TV sensations of the past several months. Connor Storrie and Hudson Williams have become overnight stars to the point that they’ve been involved in the Olympics! The success of the series has to be overwhelming at times, but this series managed to break through thanks it finding an important place in the market. It gave audiences a romance they were not used to seeing, and also offered up courage to real-life athletes all over the globe.
Of course, any time a show is this infinitely popular, you are going to wonder when we’re going to get more — and that, of course, brings us to addressing that question now.

As so many people out there are more than likely aware, Heated Rivalry has already been renewed for a season 2 — ironically, that happened before it even blew up to be the sensation that it now is! Because of the demand, we tend to think that Crave in Canada / HBO Max are going to do whatever they can to get the next chapter out there quickly … within reason anyway. The story needs to be perfect, and you do not want to rush getting something else out there simply to please viewers. There are already enough examples of why that is a bad thing.
For now, our advice here is that we all practice some patience, but also that we look towards either the end of this year or early 2027 as premiere-date possibilities. A lot of early indicators suggest that season 2 will start filming this summer and if that is truly the case, the show’s return comes down to two simple things: How long it takes to film and from there, the amount of time needed for post-production.
