‘The X Factor’ USA notes: Carly Rose Sonenclar, Fifth Harmony, Simon Cowell ‘singing’
Does Simon actually go through with it? Well … not in a way that we could hear it in the video below. Fox, obviously knowing that they have something rare here in a video of Cowell actually singing a few notes, is smartly keeping this for themselves until the September 11 season premiere. If it is as epic as the video below is hyping it up to be, we have a feeling that we really could be in for quite a treat.
Carly’s interview – Carly Rose Sonenclar is in Los Angeles today for an appearance at CityWalk for a Fourth of July event, but before stopping by there, she made an appearance over on “Good Day LA.” Many of the questions in the interview were ones that we have heard time and time again in other interviews, but she did explain a little more about how some of her fellow classmates at public school started to become used to being around her again after first exhibiting some nervousness over her newfound fame. (Video comes via CarlyRoseOnline.net.)
Fifth Harmony celebrates July 4 – Finally, we have a new shot of the ladies from Fifth Harmony celebrating their Independence alongside a giant American flag. Oh, and this image also serves as great publicity for the ladies’ new single “Miss Movin’ On,” which is going to be available for purchase on iTunes in just under two weeks. Excited? We hope so.

I totally agree with you Anna. Carly is amazing and can sell records. I believe her original song Unforgettable would be a hit on the radio. It’s excellent . I hope Simon signs her to a label soon. But she so talented she can make it on her own.

I feel like if Carly Rose had a major label and heavy promotion, she would be all over the airwaves, but she’s doing well on her own with little help from syco. I get that they won’t release her album next year and that’s smart on their part. Her new song is catchy and I was surprised by how good it was considering her age. I’m 18 but would buy her album. everyone says she’s too young, but Leann Rimes, Miley Cyrus, Demi Lovato, Brandy, Aaliyah, Beyonce, Britney Spears, Taylor Swift, JoJo, and so many more started really young even Celine Dion released her debut album at 14.
