For those who have not heard already as of yet, Law & Order season 25 episode 9 is coming to NBC next Thursday, and it will be more important than most! For those who have been waiting to see a proper crossover with SVU this season, this will be a prime opportunity to see that play out.

In the end, we do not think we really have to say why the folks at the network wanted this for a winter premiere — it allows for something that is easy to promote to viewers out there. Also, it convinces them to watch both episodes when otherwise, they may just check out one or the other.
