Well, let’s just start by saying that there has to be something to the title — or, at least that’s how we feel given that we’re talking about “Maxine Plays Dead.” Is this her admitting defeat, pretending to, or doing something else entirely? This is a show that loves to keep all of us on our collective toes and at this point, we have a hard time thinking that it is about to do anything different.

So what is rather interesting to us at present? Well, for starters, that Maxine is not named at all in this despite being one of the show’s principal characters. What is going on with that? Consider it perhaps some evidence that there is a secretive storyline being hidden for however long the powers-that-be can.

In general, we would also advise you to remember at this point that there are only four episodes remaining the rest of the season. Fingers crossed that all of them deliver some pretty awesome flourishes, especially since it is one of the only ways to ensure that a season 3 happens. Since Apple TV does not release figures for any of their series, we are willing to say for now that quite a bit does remain very much up in the air.
