Criminal Minds: Evolution season 19 premiere date: December update

At some point between now and the end of this month, will we learn a Criminal Minds: Evolution season 19 premiere date? What about larger details on the future of the series as a whole?
Of course, we will start off here by noting that there are a few things worth noting about where things stand for the Paramount+ series behind the scenes. Filming has been done for months now, as the show had a luxury of an early renewal. It allowed them to get ahead of the game, and that allows the streaming service the luxury of figuring out the right spot to launch the next season.

So does that mean we are going to be getting more of it in the near future? We would love that but simultaneously, not so much. Paramount still has the luxury of premiering season 19 whenever they choose and personally, we would look towards spring as the must likely release window. This has not been confirmed to be the final season, so there is a chance at a landmark season 20 down the line — but much will be dependent on viewership.
What is the story going to be?
Based on teasers from showrunner Erica Messer and the entire team, it seems as though a big part of the narrative will be based around yet another dimension of Elias Voit. Meanwhile, for those who haven’t felt like Luke Alvez has had enough to do over the past few seasons, he is going to have a rather fantastic arc here. Our hope also remains that we’re going to see great stuff from JJ, now that some time has passed following the tragic death of Will.
In the end, let’s just hope for even more of the drama and nostalgia you have come to know and love from this show.
