Following what you see tonight on CBS, do you want to get a return date for The Neighborhood season 8 episode 9? What about more insight on what is ahead?

There are a few different things worth noting here but for now, we should just start by sharing the bad news that regrettably, you will be waiting a while for what is ahead. The plan at present seems to bringing the series back on Monday, February 23. So why are we waiting that long? We tend to think it has a lot to do with the network trying to avoid as much competition as humanly possible, whether it be the NFL Playoffs, college football, or a number of other big events happening early on in the new year. This is also a commitment to making sure that there are fewer repeat airings when the sitcom does eventually come back.

The biggest downside in waiting for so long to see The Neighborhood back is rather simple: We are still so far away from the return that there are not a lot of other details out there. Realistically, we will be waiting until late January / early February to get some of those.

Now if there is one thing that we can say in a general sense right now, it is simply that with this being the final season, we are of the belief that everything is going to have an added weight from here on out. This is not one of those shows designed to make people leave it with conflicting emotions. We tend to think that the goal here is to deliver a happy send-off, one that a lot of longtime fans are going to be happy with. We’ll just have to wait and see what that looks like here.
