The Neighborhood season 8 episode 4 spoilers: Meet Crutch

The same day that the new series Crutch is premiering over on Paramount+, you are going to see Tracy Morgan appear here as the character. This is someone who apparently has a knack for causing a little bit of chaos and of course, that is a part of what makes our curiosity so piqued for what is ahead!

“Welcome to Family Value” – Malcolm’s home renovation takes an unexpected turn when Calvin’s cousin Crutch shows up uninvited to fix his floors. Meanwhile, Dave’s attempts to help around the house and support Grover’s booming T-shirt business lead to more stress than he bargained for, on THE NEIGHBORHOOD, Monday, Nov. 3 (8:00-8:30 PM, ET/PT) on the CBS Television Network, and streaming on Paramount+ (live and on-demand for Paramount+ subscribers, or on-demand for Paramount+ Essential subscribers the day after the episode airs)*.
From a ratings standpoint, it does feel pretty darn clear how smart this is. It is a great way to get people watching both shows, and we certainly know that Morgan can anchor a series on its own. In general, though, we don’t imagine that Crutch is not going to be taking over the full story here. The original sitcom is in the midst of its final season, after all! Because of this, we do still tend to think the top priority here is going to be working to wrap up a lot of the loose ends that have already been established over the course of the past several years. Why do anything otherwise at this point?
