‘Real Housewives of Orange County’ review: Tamra Barney’s dress distractions

For the “Real Housewives of Orange County,” an innocent conversation is never just an innocent conversation. There are always other factors in play, and other dramatic situations that have to be dealt with … namely the supposed end of Vicki Gunvalson’s relationship with Brooks.

If this is in fact the case, can we all start celebrate with a few cheers? This guy brought nothing but trouble the entire time that he was on the show, and there was nothing that we were looking forward to more than seeing the show move away from him, and move on with Vicki focusing on some other things. Granted, we do wish that it had been handled in a far better way than it was, with her having to find out about all of those nasty accusations via Lauri.

That is what we like to refer to as exhibit A to some of the drama that we saw unfold this week, while the following is exhibit B: Seeing what unfolded next with Heather Dubrow. She has a role on “Malibu Country”! Excited? Well, somehow there was drama around Gretchen Rossi that deflated the air out of everyone’s tires. Did she really give up the role to go dress shopping, or was this just a measure to save face? Everyone, of course, is going to have a pretty different answer to it.

Admittedly, what makes us the saddest right now is simply that we do have to wait for another couple of months to see Tamra’s wedding happen on her spin-off show. After seeing so much buildup to this the past several weeks, we’re honestly just ready to have it happen now.
