‘The Vampire Diaries’ season 5: Nina Dobrev living her own ‘Amazing Race’
Given the amount of travel that Nina Dobrev is doing at the moment, you would almost assume one of many things: She is either trying to escape a crazy person on her tail, she’s secretly a contestant on the next season of “The Amazing Race,” or she is subconsciously handing all of us a reminder that she’s made a ton of money on “The Vampire Diaries” and enjoys spending it. Or, we could turn to the actual answer: She’s living up her summer with friends, and since she spent much of the early part of her hiatus making the movie “Let’s Be Cops,” she knows that now is her opportunity to get in all of the fun that she can.
The astounding nature of Nina’s itinerary was first revealed to us in a post on her WhoSay page, where she left the following comment after a picture reading “book a ticket and just leave”:
“Yupp – I hear you. And we’ve been doing that exactly. Island hopping – 10 flights (to this point) 8 cities , 3 continents…. Wooowwww”
From a personal perspective, here is what we don’t get about Dobrev’s current travel plans. Isn’t being on “The Vampire Diaries” exhausting? Therefore, wouldn’t going on this sort of travel schedule feel the same way? We often associate vacations with relaxing, and the idea of going so many different places in such a short amount of time just feels like a massive mind-melt. But that’s just us. Nina’s clearly enjoying it, since she’d otherwise stop and just cozy up somewhere.
Now, from one extreme to the other … and by that we mean from relaxation to a high-intensity situation. If you want to read about the “Vampire Diaries” scene that nearly featured Nathaniel Buzolic almost killing Ian Somerhalder, just be sure to hit up the link here.

How is it the rest of the TVD gang managed to fit in other commitments, as well as conventions and interviews, yet still got time to disappear and relax before TVD starts. Nina could have at least done one convention to see the fans that made her famous.
