‘Big Brother 15’ live feed spoilers: Who (allegedly) won the first MVP?

In some ways, the “Big Brother Most Valuable Player” twist is maddening. We don’t really imagine that it will be given to the person playing the best game, and it will instead turn into a popularity contestant. We like some of the mechanisms of it, but as with all other fan-voted twists, it can be manipulated by editing … or who you know before the game even starts.

With that, the following spoiler will come as a shock to no one: Elissa has told Head of Household McCrae that she has won the first MVP of the season. As for whether or not you really believe her, that’s up to you: We don’t see confessionals on the live feed, so this may just be a wait for the two to work together to get somebody out of the game. She also told him that she only had an hour to think of a nomination alongside Candice and Jessie, which she didn’t have to do since the nomination would have been anonymous.

Here’s the rub on the MVP twist: Let’s say that Elissa wins it this week. Can’t she win it again next week, and every week until the twist dissolves? It’s basically like America almost giving her power so long as the Brendon / Rachel fans keep pushing out the vote.

The one issue that could get Elissa in trouble is that in telling people she is the MVP, she then puts a huge target on her back to be backdoored. If McCrae didn’t feel motivated to send her out before, won’t he now, given the sort of power that voters are going to be giving her week in and week out? If she’s on his side, the twist could be a good thing for him; he’ll just have to assess whether or not he can trust her with a deal, and make her feel comfortable enough that she won’t betray him.

If you want to read some more about the game’s current State of Showmances (or S.O.S., which seems oddly appropriate), check out the link here. Oh, and we also have some of the latest live-feed updates to the right.
