‘Big Brother 15’ live feed spoilers: Elissa’s secret, showmances, and early ratings

Elissa

Now that we have made it through the madness when it comes to the “Big Brother 15” live feed-gate (read more about CBS’ terrible performance here), it’s time to actually start focusing on what we and so many others actually want to see: Real drama in the house!

Let’s start by going through the basics: Candice (our pick to win, sadly) and Jessie are on the block, but we’re not sure either one of them is McCrae’s real target more so than Elissa. (Then again, he’s telling different things to different people.) The concern, subtle or not-so-subtle, is that with America voting and with herbeing Rachel’s sister, she will get some major MVP love. Andy, Helen, Howard, Elissa, and Judd are the have-nots, and we know for sure that Elissa has told her secret to Helen (who seems to be one of her better allies in the game), and while some other people don’t know for sure, they’ve pretty much figured it out. There’s rumors that Elissa got into a shouting match with someone in the house, but it happened before the live feeds started.

On the showmance front, it’s a little scattered, but there is serious flirtation going on between David and Aaryn (who most realize that this guy’s not a keeper, right?), and Jeremy seems to stupidly gotten himself in a triangle of sorts with Kaitlin and Jessie, who is probably too busy telling herself she’s “pretty” to notice he’s got a Kaitlin side dish. What is it with Jessie’s on this show being narcissistic? Maybe she should go find Mr. Pec-Tacular and be with him.

Save for the fact that the Power of Veto Competition could be coming today, there’s not too much else to write about when it comes to major events. The MVP has yet to do anything (if they have been notified, which we think they will today), and McCrae seems to not be letting his reign as Head of Household get to his head.

On the ratings front, the bad news is that the show debuted to just a 2.1 in the 18-49 demographic, down from a 2.6 last year. However, remember this: Last year had some returning players, and it also premiered a few weeks later when people tend to be a little more tired of the hot weather and are staying inside their air conditioned homes watching new programming. We’re not worried that this inexpensive show is suddenly “over.” It’s not.
