‘Big Brother 15’ houseguest spotlight: David Girton

David Girton

For this “Big Brother 15” spotlight article, we introduce you to the living version of one of the turtles from “Finding Nemo.” David Girton is the sort of dude (at least based on appearance) that would be the hunky pool boy in a movie about a cheating wife … or the surf instructor … or the guy at the bar tossing his hair at the ladies. He’s seems to be a lot of fun, but we don’t know how much substance is really beneath that mop on his head.

Could we be wrong, and this guy could actually be the second coming of Hayden Moss? Sure, but for the time being it’s hard to really think anything too seriously about a guy who seems to be in a constant state of “let’s party, bro.”

Name – David Girton

Age – 25

Location – San Diego, California

Job – Lifeguard

Personality traits – Goofy, cool, and relaxed seem to fit the bill here. David doesn’t strike us as a guy who does much sitting around and dwelling over the past. His bio on the CBS site is practically short enough to be a limerick, and he really does not have all that much to say, unfortunately.

Strengths – The biggest one seems to be that he looks like such a non-threat in some ways. Is he physically strong? Sure, but he could mask that by being the sort of party guy that Fabio was on “Survivor” a few years ago. The ladies will probably like him, and if he acts innocent enough, they’ll feel bad about betraying him. He’s also probably going to be liked by America.

Weaknesses – For one, he’s going to be easy to read. Jeff and Jordan are two of his favorite players, so he’s probably not going to play a super-evil or aggressive game. He may also get in trouble because we don’t seem him strategizing that much.

Early prediction – David seems to be a fan of the show, and we like to wish well on these sort of people. This may shock you considering everything that we’ve said, but we actually think David is a guy with the potential to do pretty well. He’s not going to be an early target, and if he sends home some of the stronger guys the first few weeks, he could dominate the challenges and cruise near the end. What will probably keep him from winning is the same thing that hurt Jeff: Being too reliant of competition wins, and not enough on strategy.
