‘Glee’ season 5 spoilers: Matthew Morrison explains new dream for Will

What’s coming up for Matthew Morrison on “Glee” season 5? The biggest thing that we can say right now is that after a full season of trying to arrange the perfect wedding between himself and Emma, the two will finally be a married couple. Could there still be problems? You better believe it, but these problems will probably be of a very different sort than anything that we have encountered so far.

Speaking on the subject of Will’s future in a new interview, Morrison explained that since for the time being the students of New Directions are “his children,” he would like to see him have some kids of his own at some point. We could see this happening fairly soon, as Emma is working to get over her intimacy issues. At the same time, though, we imagine this being a process. It’s taken her a long time to convince herself that she is worthy of being someone’s wife, so how in the world will she feel about becoming a mother?

We also don’t expect Will to have an enormous role through the entire season. As more and more students graduate, it’s going to become more difficult in time for him to actually stay relevant and a significant part of their lives. He will always be a part of the show, though, depending on how much Ryan Murphy and company choose to use him.
