‘The Vampire Diaries’ season 5 notes: Nina Dobrev and Phoebe Tonkin

Enduring a long “Vampire Diaries” hiatus can be tough; but doesn’t checking out some more notes related to the show make things at least a little bit more tolerable? We like to think so, and thus, we present the latest happenings from the worlds of both Nina Dobrev and Phoebe Tonkin.

We’ll start with Nina, who has spent much of her pre-season 5 break hard at work on the movie “Let’s Be Cops” in Atlanta (where the CW show films its new episodes). So what’s her latest obsession to bide her time away from being in front of the camera? It seems to be “The Bachelor” … or at least the baby version of it. Everyone seems to be in love with Jimmy Kimmel’s popular spoof “The Baby Bachelor,” In case you haven’t seen these clips yet, all three parts are enclosed in the playlist below … and we also have the following quote that suggests that even if young Wesley does not find love with any of his suitors on the “show,” Nina may be more than willing to jump in:

“Omg Baby Bachelor-Hilarious! Im dying right now. May have a little crush. @jimmykimmel if Gabby/Jesse don’t work out for him will u set me up?”

Now, we’re just waiting for the next desperate website to write a story suggesting that she’s “moving on” from Ian Somerhalder with a child, without understanding that the whole thing is a joke.

Phoebe Tonkin relaxes – When you consider the sheer amount of work that is coming up for the stars of the upcoming “Vampire Diaries” spin-off show “The Originals,” it’s certainly understandable that the group would want to take a little bit of time now to relax and prepare for the long road ahead.

For Phoebe Tonkin, this apparently includes getting in some time in the … mud? Yes, that really happened. While in St. Lucia, the actress shared photos of herself on Instagram taking a relaxing mud bath. While it may sound strange to some of you, it sure beats being pregnant with Klaus’ baby when he really loves Caroline, right? (What? Too soon?)
