‘Mad Men’ season 6, episode 10 preview: What to expect in ‘A Tale of Two Cities’
You have already seen a particularly-vague promo for Sunday night’s “Mad Men” season 6 episode “A Tale of Two Cities,” so what better way to follow that up than with an equally-vague synopsis? As we near the end of the season, you have to imagine that there will continue to be more shockers… and this episode is surely going to fit that bill (we hope).
Before we get too deep into anything, though, let’s get to trying to dance around the meaning of the weak episode description below:
“The agency works to hold on to a client. Joan is caught off guard.”
So what sort of client are we talking about here: Chevrolet, or someone else? It’s really anyone’s guess, but it is likely that Don Draper will be front and center while either trying to romance the client into staying or showing them where the front door is.
As for what Joan is caught off-guard by, we expect there to be some further development in the storyline with a suddenly-motivated Roger, who wants to actually take some responsibility in being a father to his child with Joan after being suddenly reminded of how terrible he is at it. There may be some movement with her new man Bob Benson as well, who has hopefully invested in a new pair of shorts after what we saw last week.
So when it comes to Don and his marriage, will he actually commit to Megan in the way that he promised? We really want to believe what he said to her after returning from the infamous camping trip, but like Betty, we’ve just been burned by Don so many times before.
Is there anything in particular that you want to see unfold in this “Mad Men” episode? Be sure to share your thoughts below! Also, the link here should provide you with a pretty great opportunity to reflect on everything that happened in last week’s installment.
