‘Real Housewives of New York City’: Who is not official for season 6?
Remember how it was first reported around the internet that the entire “Real Housewives of New York City” cast was on board for the show’s sixth season? As it turns out, not every person is confirmed to be a part of the new cast.
In a new statement (per Deadline), a Bravo representative confirmed that Ramona Singer, Sonja Morgan, Carole Radziwill and Heather Thomson have all been officially confirmed to be a part of the new season. This ultimately means that there are just two people who have yet to be confirmed to be coming back to the show and that is the Countess LuAnn de Lesseps (one of the show’s original cast members), and Aviva Drescher.
Does this statement mean that these two are about to disappear from the “Real Housewives” map? Not exactly, so don’t start your freakout and Twitter trending topics yet. These two ladies may just be going through longer negotiations, and could be close to finalizing their deals with the network. Bravo is trying to avoid the lessons of so many TV networks before them: Announcing something before it is completely and 120% true. When you do that, you basically end up having to clean a heavy dose of egg off of your face if things go awry.
“The Real Housewives of New York City” season 6 already has the honor being the craziest year yet for the show, just when it comes to behind-the-scenes drama alone. Hopefully, the season actually ends up being as exciting as these negotiations have been, given that much of the story we saw in season 5 was pretty ho-hum.
We do have much more information on the crazy path that got us to this point when it comes to the ladies and for that, you don’t have to look any further than paying a visit over to the link here.
