‘The Simpsons’ spoilers: First look at Justin Bieber as … Justin Bieber

While Justin Bieber may have his fare share of detractors out there thanks to all sorts of recent headlines against him, he also has plenty of fans. With that in mind, we’re sure that his appearance on “The Simpsons” Sunday night is sure to generate plenty of attention.

Just for the standpoint of where his star power is at, we actually find the story revolving around the young pop star on this episode to be pretty darn hilarious: Basically, Bieber will be playing himself as he hopes to get into a talent show (one in which Bart is playing piano at). However, there is one major problem with it: The folks behind the show seemingly have no interest in letting him join in on the fun.

You can tell that this episode was conceptualized quite a long time ago, as Bieber’s hair is still in that old swoosh pattern that he sported for many years during his early days of becoming a celebrity. (He didn’t have it at the time of his recording, but this hairstyle was still what made him recognizable to many young people.) This first photo comes courtesy of Entertainment Weekly, and hopefully it gives Justin a chance to make fun of himself even more so than what his recent run on “Saturday Night Live” did. Bieber has been largely out of the public eye since that time, but much of the reason for that is merely thanks to the fact that he has been touring overseas.
